Safe√ Check is a woman owned business that was established in 2004 in response to the need for professional, fire safety conscious providers of Passive Fire Protection Services for Healthcare facilities.

Today Safe√ Check provides facility managers with fire door inspections, fire and smoke damper inspections/repairs, and firestopping services that meet all Joint Commission, ICC, NFPA, State and Federal Codes and Requirements.

What is Passive Fire Protection?

Passive Fire Protection is a system that works to slow the spread of fire and smoke through a building with the use of fire and smoke barriers to compartmentalize and contain the fire to a specific area. A Passive Fire Protection System includes barriers (fire rated walls, ceilings, floors, fire dampers and fire doors) that must be maintained through regular maintenance and repair.  Codes NFPA 80, NFPA 101®, and NFPA 105 are requirements in which Safe√ Check will insure your facility maintains compliance.

Safe√ Check is only one of several companies NATIONWIDE that is a “Qualified UL Fire Stop Contractor.”

Safe√ Check recently completed training through the “Door and Hardware Institute” to become a certified “Fire Door Inspection Technician.” 

Passive Fire Protection is a requirement; is mandated;
and is audited or inspected.
